Pitching in for International Disaster Relief

UPDATE: As of February 2, 2010, the community has helped the Gateway Area Chapter exceed its goal of $20,000 to support the International Response Fund and the relief efforts in Haiti through generous financial donations and pledges! More than $5,350 was collected on Friday, January 29 during the Pitching in for International Disaster Relief drive!
(CLINTON, IA) – On Friday, January 29, 2010, the Gateway Area Chapter board of directors, staff, and volunteers hosted a community-wide fundraising effort to support the American Red Cross International Disaster Relief Fund so it can continue providing relief to victims of countless crises, like the recent earthquake in Haiti.
