Babysitting Camps

This class is for youth ages 11-15 (must be 11 years old before the start date).

Babysitter

Four camps are being held during Summer 2010.

Clinton: Monday, June 21 – Friday, June 25 – Registration deadline: Friday, June 11

Maquoketa: Monday, June 28 – Friday, July 2 – Registration deadline: Friday, June 18

DeWitt: Monday, July 19 – Friday, July 23 – Registration deadline: Friday, July 9

Fulton: Monday, July 26 – Friday, July 30 – Registration deadline: Friday, July 16

The camps run from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. each day. The cost is $150. (Pre-registration and pre-payment is required). Scholarships may be available. Contact the Gateway Area Chapter for more details or to register TODAY!

The five day camps will include:

  • Babysitter’s Training Course,
  • Adult, Child, Infant CPR/AED
  • First Aid
  • Masters of Disaster Training
  • Crafts/Activities
  • Guest Speakers

The Chapter also offers a one-day babysitters training where you will learn valuable emergency skills and how to handle different situations. The next one-day class is scheduled for Saturday, October 23, 2010, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The cost is $45 and includes a handbook, emergency reference guide, and CD-Rom.
